Services
Library services

The College runs a well-stocked library with adequate reading space.  The College also subscribes to a number of academic online journals.  There are also satellite libraries in all the schools.  These satellite libraries hold books recommended for the programmes offered by the schools as well as the research works by the schools.

Computer Laboratories

The College runs 10 Computer Laboratories.  Two are located in the School of Engineering and another two in the School of Science and Technology.  The other six computer laboratories are distributed to the remaining schools.

Workshops and Laboratories

Transit College prides itself of the state-of-the-art laboratories.  All the departments in the Schools of Engineering, Medicine and Allied Sciences and Agriculture and Environmental Studies have laboratories.  In the School of Science and Technology, all the practical subjects have specialized laboratories.  We, also, us these laboratories in training our students of Transit A Plus.

Theatre

The Department of Performing Arts in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences has a modern theatre which is at times hired by drama groups from town for public performance.

Health Services

The medical and health services of the College are offered at the College and, if referred, at Transit College Teaching Hospital.  Students pay a nominal fee for medical services every year.

Accommodation for Students

There are hostels in Bumbuna Town which are used by students.  The College has made arrangements with the owners to allow them be dedicated to our students only.

Students’ Guild

The student guild in a link between the student body and the administration.  The Guild Government is headed by a Guild President who is democratically elected by the student body in accordance to the Guild Constitution.  The government serves for a period of one year.  Students may also form school-level associations and programme-level associations.

Sports and Recreation

Transit College values good health of our community. Transit College is dedicated to keeping its community healthy and fit. For this, the College has established a number of venues for sports and recreation.  The Department of Sports and Recreation offers welfare and sports skills services to the students through a comprehensive, dynamic and exciting Inter-School sports competition.
