Transit College operates a three-admissions Scheme. Scheme I refers to September admissions while Scheme II refers to January admissions and Scheme III refers to May admissions. Semester I for Scheme I runs from September to December while for Scheme II, it runs from January to April and it runs from May to August for Scheme III. Semester II for Scheme I runs from January to April while for Scheme II, it runs from May to August and for Scheme III, it runs from September to December. The Recess Term for Scheme I runs from May to July while for Scheme II, it runs from September to November and it runs from January to March for Scheme III. This arrangement allows a student to re-take a course within one year of first sitting.

Admission to the programme is through either Direct Entry in which candidates must have obtained in not more than two sittings, at least five credit passes in West African Secondary School Certificate of Education. In case of international students, the candidates should get at least two Principal Passes or its equivalent obtained in one sitting.
Admission to Transit A Plus does not require that you get at least five (5) credits in the national examinations. The only condition that should be fulfilled is that the candidate had attempted the national examinations.
All students are required to register each semester with Transit College. A student retaking a course shall have to register for the paper over and above the normal registration.
Application is made through filling an application form obtained from the College at a non-refundable fee of USD 25. Application must be fully filled and all relevant documents attached and returned to the Admissions Office according to the deadlines set by the Office. Alternatively, you can apply online after paying the application fee through Mobile Money facility. Upload all the required documents at the time of online application.
All documents received by the College in connection with an application for admission becomes the property of the College.
