Transit College of Engineering, Mining and Environmental Science, located at Plot 4, Peace Lane, Bumbuna, Northern Sierra Leone was established in 2020. Transit has acquired 210 acres of land on which put its facilities. It has eight schools and two academic departments.
At the time Sierra Leone gained independence, the country had one of the best educational system in Africa. But after independence, the long period of wars got its effect of the system.
